Dang, moved to another continent, no computer and no poker for one month, and upon my return to cyberspace, not only is my old FTR account inactive, but my old poker site now boasts a daily attendance at least 1/3 of what it used to be.
I won't go into my poker results at this point, since my experimentation at uber-aggro play at $10 NL has proved to be -- as I predicted -- a recipe for bankruptcy, and I won't divulge who I am (like anyone cares or remembers), but I'd like to know where the hell everyone plays at these days?
Paradise is a true shadow of it's former glory from what I can see. Not even worth playing, I reckon. Maybe I'll just burn up the rest of my 'roll in tournies there, but as for ring games, I'd be lucky to find one full table at a session.
Cheers

LOL - yeah, a lot has happened, a lot of the poker rooms have shut off US players, including Party Poker and Paradise Poker. So a lot of those players have been moving to Full Tilt, PokerStars, Absolute Poker, UltimateBet and Bodog.

Full Tilt has gotten a lot fishier since Party closed. That's where I play now, but I also plan on playing at Stars.

Thanks for the tips. I think I'll try UB next, then.
I'll see if I can clear my 10,000 buck Paradise bonus first!

DON'T PLAY UBET!!! Yo udont' get any flops. I posted a topic about it in this forum and got the same answers. I am at Mansion and Bodog...Bodog is a really good site. Haven't gotten too many unreal beats there. Mansion I just started...it's k. Full Tilt seems fun from my friend's perspective.

I'm playing both at Bodog and Doylesroom which still allow US players and I really like it there but you can't go wrong with Stars.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

For fuck's sake don't play Pokerstars at 10nl. Find a bonus and clear it, rinse/wash/repeat.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

The flop, turn and river can change everything. It is important to remain objective and remember that the overall goal is to win, not win this specific hand
