PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($10)
UTG ($10.34)
Hero (Button) ($11.17)
SB ($10.58)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, A
1 fold, Hero bets $0.40, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.90) K, 3, 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.70, SB calls $0.70

Turn: ($2.30) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.50, SB calls $1.50

River: ($5.30) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero ?????

77/25 over 40 hands, 1/3 fold to cbet.

This guy's shaping up to be a pretty big fish, should I just pot/overbet flop and pot turn to get all the money in by the river (assuming decent runout) or bet like I did to widen his overall calling range on both streets?

As played what's the plan on the river? Shove/ b/f smallish/check.

I'm bet/calling for like 3.50-4.50 here. If the fish has the FH, csb.

Edit: Definitely leading towards the larger end of the spectrum here since he's going to call down with any Kx, probably TT, QQ, TJ, QJ, ummm he's more than likely jamming FDs on you so you can't really bet/fold here since:

KK = 1 combo
JJ = 3 combos
33 = 1
99 = 3
Flushes = a lot. :P

bet/fistpumpsnapgetitin

I don't even mind a bet of like $6 here just to get that much more value out of his one/two pair hands.

why the fold or why the sizing?

I'd expect to get jammed over a very small % of the time, he'll probably call us every now and then with a better hand though, but the majority of the time he calls we'll ship it, and he's never c/bluffshoving here nor is he jamming like KQ for value or something silly like that.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($6.13)
Hero (BB) ($11.47)
UTG ($14.95)

CO ($7.85)
Button ($2.69)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, K
UTG bets $0.40, MP calls $0.40, 1 fold, Button calls $0.40, 1 fold
Hero raises to ???????

UTG looks like an aggro whale so far and should call very wide to my 3bet. Others are 19/0 and 23/20 over 40 hands.

What's our 3bet sizing bearing in mind BTN only has 23BB left behind?

I would just do a standard 3.5-4X 3bet. If UTG is aggro, he may 4bet it. Btn is likely to fold or shove. So if you don't want to build a big pot with a speculative hand, you might want to just call and see a cheap flop. If you hit a good flop, just let the aggro whale value-town himself. If you miss the flop then you can get out cheap.

i'd fold river, there not too many 6 in his range, maybe 67s 1 combo and 2 A6s, but there are enough Tx in his preflop range to fold river.but i am a loser so 25nl so you better listen so some better players

1. Fold river. Tighter players at these stakes just don't bluff often enough with this line at all and will check tp or even sometimes overpairs on the turn. Think you'll see Tx 6x and random nuttier hands more often than bluffs by quite a bit.

2. 3-bet preflop for value unless the limper is some kind of huge tard. I'd c/r flop for value, there are loads of worse hands calling here and he might even spazz since you don't rep a whole lot. As played, calling turn and folding river to this jam looks about right to me.

You need > 36% equity to call.
vs TT+ you have 38% equity. Add in AK you get 47% equity. If you can include KQ in his range 52%. Calllll.

and that's with a tight CO 3bet calling in position - throw in JT, 55, and 98s you've still got 42% equity.
