I have spent alot of time since I have been a member here just trying to look at this. I also think this is the hardest part for me to control. I am a type a personality person and I don't like playing the lower limits. However I have finally beet this out of me. The one thing I have been trying to figure out is this.

I am a good tourn player I cash more than 50 percent of the time. However I prefer cash games but still have tons to learn. So i am using sit n goes to build me a bankroll of atleast 1k. Once i get there I am going to go back to playing .05 / .10 until i get a respectible bb rating. I know the bankroll is alot higher than need to be however I will be able to play at a comfortable level. So here is my question.

1. I am currently playing a sit n go called double up it is a one table 10 players and it pays to 5th place. Places 1-5 all get 10.00 the buy in is 5.40 I have done the math and seen if I play 4 tables like i usually do. and I cash in two out of the 4 I will loose 1.60 Now with this said I have been doing well, with about 3/4 of them i cash in. but i wonder if this is the best place to put my money. if i cash in 3/4 it is only 8.40 profit. It seams to me that I am not making a good return on my money. What do you guys think.

Bodog, too.

1K for .05-.10 is ultranitty, even for me, the selfproclaimed King Nit.

you guys are taking away from my question. My question is do you think a tourn that pays to 5th place but only doubles your buy in mine fees is worth playing. As far as the bankroll, That was based on my skill level not bankroll management. that is why i chose to stay at the .10 level with that big of a bankroll right now i play mostly tourns and am working to get the bigger bankroll to get into bigger tourns. However i hope one day to be able to make the switch to cash games only.

Having never played them, my guesstimate is no. I imagine they'd be so much of a rockfest that the cards decide who wins. Do they only run these at micro-stakes? Also, having never played these, I could be wrong. Why dont you play a few hundred and see what your ROI is.
