AP now has BBtables. $0.50 extra off each raked pot goes to the BBjackpot.

Play? Don't play? Is the BBJ money taken counted as rake? Do I get rakeback? Is it a matter of looking to see if there are juicy games and just play them. How hard is it to stay ahead of a $.50 extra rake at 6max?

Thanks.

Don't have to worry about it down here at 50nl.

I would say it looks like you're stuck playing them. Are they really raking .50 off of each pot extra? Or does .50 of that rake go to the jackpot?

HOW IT WORKS

Look for our new ‘Bad Beat Jackpot’ tables and watch our jackpot grow. We’ll collect $0.50 from the pot of each raked hand. The poker jackpot will keep growing until someone hits an unbelievable bad beat.

What constitutes a bad beat? If you lose a hand holding four twos (2222) or anything better, that’s a bad beat. But at these tables, your luck couldn’t be better.
Sounds like they take from the pot, So you lose 1/2BB for every raked winning pot.

your quads losing to quads may be huge compared to just Quads losing to str8 flush, royal flush or quads. You'll want to be the loser but more importantly is the odds of any two having any of these hands.

I glanced at the tables running and it looked like almost all of the 100Nl tables were jackpot tables. Also the house takes 10% of the jackpot and 20% goes to the next one... gay

Bad Beat Jackpot
A bad beat never felt so good.

Absolute Poker's 1st Bad Beat Jackpot has already been won! CGA11 is now 38K richer due to a bit of bad luck. CGA11 WON $38969.87 in a sick bad beat hand, the pot winner took home $19484 with 3 others winning $6494.97 each! Incredible! Here's how it played out.

Holding ThTd, CGA11 raised in a limped pot at a .50/$1 NL table. He got several callers, including NEDKELLY, who held Qs9s and GREYCODE, who held AcKh, and WALLEYEKILL, who held KcQh.

The flop came with TcJsKd…. Giving CGA11 trip Tens, GREYCODE and WALLEYKILL top pair, and NEDKELLY a straight! Talk about an action flop!

After a lot of the money went in on the flop, CGA11, NEDKELLY and WALLEYEKILL were all still in the hand when the turn brought the 8s. WALLEYEKILL had already committed most of his chips and ended up all in with both CGA11 and NEDKELLY calling.

CGA11 went all in and was called by NEDKELLY, and the rest is AP history, as the first bad beat jackpot was hit!The river brought the Ts, giving CGA11 quad tens, but NEDKELLY a Straight flush!!
Won on a $100NL table and I have 0 hands on all of them exept NEDKELLY, have 16. I datamine this site a lot. hhmmmm

But I have noticed a jump in $100NL players without stats. Everyone moving up maybe?
