Blessdemaces
Hello fellow Rounders, I've been lurking on this site for a few months now...Decided to join.....I've been playing NL Holdem since 2004....Started playing online at Party Poker....I guess you could say I was a Bonus Whore.....I've played off and on since 04 at several different poker sites.....Oct 16th 2008 deposited 100.00 into my Poker Stars account.....As of today, i'm up to 1709.00....
I play mostly 25NL Multiple Tables ( 6-16) 100NL 2 tables.....
SNG'S .....Double or Nothing SNG'S 5.20..10.40...52.00..104.00

I know i've played over my bankroll several times...Playing the 100NL tables and the 104 double or nothing SNG'S...I would say i've played close to 100,000 hands in 7 weeks.....For some reason i'm having a very hard time with the 25NL tables.....I'd like to post some hands i've played to see if there is anything I could've change....Are these hands Bad Play on my part?? Or just Bad Beats or Just Poker as people say....Any comments or suggestions are welcome....Thanks in advance.....

Welcome to FTR!

Hand 1: Pretty standard stackoff. The only way you might have seen it coming was the call after the initial raise. Maybe making it $3 to go preflop to cut down on the implied odds would have been better. Otherwise, don't worry about it, it happens.

Hand 2: If you are going to min-reraise (which I don't like doing, especially with AA), then for gods sake raise his flop bet like a man!

Hand 3: Try raising to 3x or 4x BB + 1BB for each limper. With big pairs, you want to get worse hands to call you and put more money in while you are ahead, but its much better to play a HU pot. As played, I would bet more on the flop and more on the turn. You don't want to give drawing hands the opportunity to school you.

Lastly, DON'T POST RESULTS! If you want honest feedback about your play, don't post the result because it influences peoples opinions about what you should have done.

Hand 1: Well played post flop. Larger raise preflop though... more like 3.5-4x

Hand 2: Same as Hand 1. WTF min raise preflop? Don't do that.

Hand 3: Same as Hand 1 & 2. Make it more like $2 preflop. Here's a guidline: 4x BB, +1BB for each limper. So, if two people limp behind you, make it 6xBB. If no one limps, make it 4xBB. If you want to re-raise, make it between 3-4x the initial raise, depending on the stack size you are up against.
