At that level I would never fold KK pre-flop. If I'm against AA then so be it.

I'd like to know a little bit more about your history with this opponent. How many times have you re-raised him pre-flop before? How many times has he made a huge all-in bet into a tiny pot before?

He's never shoved like this into a tiny pot before, no. But I can see why he did, basically he's LAG but I'm a better LAG imo, and I keep pushing him off hands, stealing his blinds etc. On numerous occasions I stone-cold bluffed him and showed my rags, so he's obviously gonna have some issues.

Basically I saw his push as a 'I'm not gonna be pushed around no more' statement, because he knew if he was on a draw or something vs me post-flop, he was gonna have a torrid time of it.

So yeah, it was surprising that he shoved but I had him on possible semi-tilt.

I would've raised more pre-flop, but I'd been raising alot of pots and he'd been laying down alot, and I really wanted him in this pot 'cos I wanted to sting him. Was the wrong move though, he turns over 66 and I don't improve. ZomgStacked.

Ah well, I rebought and went up 3 buyins. GG.

Hindsight is 20-20 but I think I woulda laid it down...there's an obvious straight draw and any hole cards also on the board made a set (as it did)...I'd personally rather live to see another day...the straight draw is what would get my attention tho, not the possible set...but if I have to err I'd rather be the one going all in then the one calling it if I'm not SURE I have the nuts

just a n00bs opinion tho

A valued one at that.

The more I see this hand the worse I think I played it. I should be re-raising to $2-$3 here and giving him a tough decision. An extra 60c is just too inviting for 66, especially due to the implied odds cos we were lagging it up.

Ah well, you live and learn.
