Post subject: Bad Beat of Stupid Raise?

I was just wondering if this was a bad beat or a stupid raise?
After it happened I thought the former, but now that I look back at it, I’m wondering if that .55 raise should have made me fold?
My reasoning was that after the flop I had top pair and a draw to the nut flush, while my opponent maybe had a flush. I didn’t consider that he could’ve had a set, though I should have. That he rivered a full house is irrelevant, I think.
But even if I did think that he had a set, would it ever be correct to fold my aces given the cards that came? I reckoned that my odds were OK to go all-in, was I wrong? I figured that after the flop I had 11 outs.
Thanks in advance.

I'd say a little of each.
You have the nut flush draw, so you have a chance at winning even if he has the flush. Still, at most stakes there are few hands that don't beat an overpair which will push on this board (this could be an exception at the penny tables).
IMO, you should have made a bigger raise preflop (unless you had a strong reason to expect folds from EVERYONE with a larger bet). There are a lot of limpers in the pot. I'd pump it to .10 preflop, looking to face a single opponent. I'd make that same raise with any hand I was raising here. At that point you're less scared about the flush draw than I would be here.

This is penny table, he could have had K2o. Raise more pre flop, these guy would call 8x BB raise with 32o just because theyre the big blind.

You'd be surprised - I play the $0.01 tables and actually most people play them properly. I'd say the standard at the penny tables was higher than the slightly higher micro stakes.

Please take a couple seconds to format your hands so they're at the very least readable. Thanks
