(I'm doing this in three posts because this input box flips out on me after adding the first hand.... and keeps wanting to shoot up and not let me type anything.)
I'm open for suggestions on these three scenarios.... I think I just really hit a bad beat...but ouch did it take a beating on my bankroll.

First Instace:

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.02 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars

Hero (UTG) ($2.37)
UTG+1 ($2.97)
MP1 ($0.75)
MP2 ($4.60)
CO ($0.87)
Button ($2.11)
SB ($4.90)
BB ($2.10)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9d, 10d
Hero calls $0.02, UTG+1 calls $0.02, 3 folds, Button calls $0.02, SB calls $0.01, BB checks

Flop: ($0.10) 8d, 7c, Js (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.06, 1 fold, Button raises to $0.16, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.35 (All-In), Button calls $1.93 (All-In)

Turn: ($4.28) Jh (2 players, 2 all-in)

River: ($4.28) 7s (2 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $4.28 | Rake: $0.20

I was beat on the first one with a Full house. (Jacks over 7's)
Then on the second one I was beat with a full house of Aces over 7's.

I was extremly tilted...but kept my cool and just switched to some new tables.... Currently not doing too bad.

sh1t happens man, not really bad beats at all.
The second hand i think it's real bad to just call preflop. With his stack i'd just fold (not enough to pay u off) or raise enough to put him all in b/c your ahead most of the time. Although it'd prob be a coin flip. As u can see there's always the danger of someone yet to act. so ya, prob better to fold pre.

After looking at the second hand in the review... I think maybe I should have done a raise... but called because of the fact its only a mid pair... wanted to see what dropped on the flop....

Both are bad beats, just unlucky they hit close together.

That said, your BRM should allow you to handle 3 big beats in a session without sweating too much.
Just playing to improve.

Well considering i only have 15$ in the account before taking the three bad beats... Brought me down to about 8-9$.... Just got to watch myself. Maybe I'm not ment to play poker, and someone was proving that tonight (lol jk of course)

First one I'd just fold preflop usually, but never limp. Second one is a bit closer.
Just playing to improve.

Normaly I would fold it too, but I had a hunch on it.....unfortunatly my hunch forgot to tell me that I was going to get my @ss kicked on the river.

With such a small roll I'd consider switching to the lowest 10 handed limit hold'em tables there are like .02/.04 and try to grind that playing super tight until you get it back up to around $40, that is if you don't want to go busto. If redepositing is fine then I'd top up right away because you'll probably play better being properly rolled.

I am playing the lowest i can go. 1 cent/2 cent. Maybe I misunderstood and its not called 2nl? thought it was 100Xbb= #nl. Might be wrong, if so, I apologize.

He said lowest LIMIT tables. Not No Limit tables. It has lower risk of ruin for your bankroll.

That being said I'm pretty confident that a "winning NL2" player (someone with basic NL skills) can win consistently starting with 20$ BR, maybe even lower. I would continue playing NL2, as it's likely you are not good limit player (if you are, switch to lowest limit tables until you rebuild your roll a bit).

These are both bad beats, there is nothing stupid here... But looking at the first hand, I think tightening your early position range could help your game a lot. And also I suggest not to limp anything UTG...

When youre an 80+% favorite when the money goes in you obviously are right to get the money in and you will make money on average in these pots. But when you are an 80% favorite there is still a 20% chance you will lose. Sometimes shit happens twice in a row (something like a 2% chance in this case). You better get used to it if you want to play this game though, because over the hundreds of thousands of hands you will put in over the next few years you are going to see those 2%s more than once. Good bankroll management will soften the blow.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

Well its good to hear that these were both just bad beats and I didn't pull any donk moves here. I figured I'd just toss it out to you guys to see if maybe I screwed something up bad somewhere.

According to pokertracker replay, I was 90% favorite to win with the pocket 9's turning into full house.... guess I just had some bad luck last night, lol.

Didn't notice he said limit, my appologies. I've played limit before on a 25$ deposit.... lost my rear end off. Was to scared to play No limit.... Finally said screw it, and switched....and I saw a great improvment in tournaments and over all ring games. It was just a shame to hit these two blows.

What's ya'll recomendations on 2$ Headsup SNG's? I've got about a 75% win rate, and enjoy them. But I noticed winning 1 only nets you 1.80$ whilst a loss gets you ($2.20). Odds don't seem good enough to even worry about playing it. your thoughts?

Man I'm getting bad beats. I've got a straight, Villian has flush. I have flush, Villan has full house. I get a full house, he pulls out a bigger full house.

I must have pissed off a poker god somewhere, lol.

And go figure...As I'm writting this i just won a $3.10 pot and turn around with another $1.50 pot.... Irony.

Edit: And a few more decent pots after that..... Started table with 3$.... fell down to about $1.30. Did all in and won.... and after the few good hits... up to $5.56.... Thank god the bad beat streak is over... starts playing mental poker with you, makes you paranoid of your calls lol.

haha as soon as you complain you always win just try and not let the beats affect how you play

Indeed. I joined a 10 cent 360 Person Turbo SNG.... Made it in the money. Placed 17th, which gave me a whopping 40 cents! lol. I dislike the 10 cent SNG's, but I'm trying out new techniques, so it's a decent testing ground.

I find it plain stupidity that you post two badbeats so that people can tell you how unlucky you were
Also limping 9Ts utg is bad imo.

OMG POKERTRACKER IS RIGGED!
