Default Awkward spot 3-ways OOP 99 flops overpair

CO is 38/13 and donkish, BU is 27/21 regnit.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - Full Tilt Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

    BB ($5.17)
    UTG ($15.64)
    MP ($8.20)
    Button ($5.24)
    Hero (SB) ($5.02)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9
1 fold, MP bets $0.20, Button calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.18, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.65) 7, 3, 5 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.44, MP calls $0.44, Button calls $0.44

I donk here because I preferred not to c/c down multiways with this hand, thoughts?

3-bet pre. C-bet this flop. Not folding this flop.

I don't think I like a 3-bet here pre-flop. However, I do like leading this flop because it allows us to get value from lower pairs and a lot of draws that wouldn't always bet. This actually reminds me of a 4-way hand we were talking about in IRC last night with JJ on a 653tt flop.

I like the lead. Likely doubling any turn except a spade. I wouldn't love seeing a 4 either, but probably still double that.

Interesting that you're barelling an A or K turn, I probably would have pussied out at that point, mostly afraid that the CO donk peeled with 2 overs. Very unlikely that BU would be overcalling with AQ or whatever.

    What are their AF's?

I guess if they are super passive they would flat big FD's, but I'd expect most regs to be raising big FD's here with all this dead money, especially button, so generally I'm not too worried about an A/K.

Also we should be leading KQ/KJ/Axss with some frequency as well, so we have enough A/K in our range to be credible.

CO had a highish AF, and BU very low, seemingly weak-tight.

Turn bet is way too small. Our hand is vulnerable and this board isn't getting prettier.

I'm near potting this turn, $1.70-$1.80ish.

Ok, turn bet too small, noted. Everybody calls:

    BB ($5.17)
    UTG ($15.64)
    MP ($8.20)
    Button ($5.24)
    Hero (SB) ($5.02)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 9, 9
1 fold, MP bets $0.20, Button calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.18, 1 fold

    Flop: ($0.65) 7, 3, 5 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.44, MP calls $0.44, Button calls $0.44

    Turn: ($1.97) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $1.12, MP calls $1.12, Button calls $1.12

    River: ($5.33) 10 (3 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $5.33, 1 fold, Hero ?

    Total pot: $5.33 | Rake: $0.35

Seems like an easy fold now, esp since it's MP jamming with someone to act after.

i like your river play. can't think of a reason to bet. and can't think of a reason to call when this fish decides to pot it 3-way on a flush/straight-completing river

Flop lead is very standard here. A flop donk really shouldn't even be seen as fancy play when the preflop agressor is a passive player. The only reason a donk is a donk is because there is an assumption that the agressor will bet with a high frequency; in any scenario where they're not super likely to cbet, leading out should just be regarded like any other type of bet/check decision.

I know that this is an aside in a thread where everyone's in agreement on this decision, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.
