I have been a little down the past couple of weeks as a noob that really wants to get the handle on all of this. I started at .05/.10 limit, accidentally ended up playing a little NL, tried SNG, had a great time lose 90% of my BR. I have been studying articles, posts, websites, etc trying to stop bleeding chips, but to no avail. At long last, I had gotten down to my zero point - I was out of money even for the cheap SNGs. I was learning, trying hard, following advice - what the hell????? Not quite tilt, because I knew my initial deposit was well spent just in learning the game. But then I came back full circle and went back to the limit game, knowing I was going to last as long as my meager funds would allow to get just that last little bit of playing practice until I could front some more $$$. Guess what - I am destroying micro limit. Now, I know that is no feat worth mentioning, other than to say "Thanks" to you all for getting me prepared over the past month or so. I am up 120% over the past 1 1/2 days by kicking some microlimit ass. It isn't that anything has changed, it is that the lessons that you have hammered into my thick skull are taking effect. Having gotten to just a slow trickle of blood in NL, this is a piece of cake now. The choices are easy decisions in most cases, and I am looking forward to not having to put any more of my own $$$ into the game. I know it takes a while to grind up a decent BR at these levels, but that is half the fun. I love this game, and you guys are a big contributing factor. I swear, I click on FTR before I even look at my first page of porn in the morning (and noon, and night, etc.)
