This is a pretty big request and probably a hassle to do but....I was wondering if anybody here could make any vids (like the past SNG vids) of them destroying a party or stars 25NL or 50NL game(s). I don't care how many tables there are - I would actually enjoy watching someone else 8 table. If this is just stupid then let me know, but I'd appreciate it and I'm sure some others would.

I think hes reffering to dwarfman's videos.

I would like to see a video of somebody destroying 50NL aswell.
Should be interesting.

I would like to see this too. I think it would also be interesting watching a good player having a bad game (or at least a bad run of cards) as well - to see how he handles it.

There is a short video on
http://www.cardrunners.com/ by GreenPlastic - but it's short . It's more of a teaser than anything. There are other videos there but you have to pay for them.

I have been owning 25nl lately. I staked my roommate 500$ and he's learning 25nl full ring, so I played a couple sessions for him. I don't have camtasia though.

I'm not sure about the rules to linking to other sites. So this may be my first strike.

http://www.pokertips.org/videos/videos.php has a small selection of cash game videos. Mostly short-handed and limit, but they do add to it reasonably often and its free.

If anybody would like to make a recording but you don't have the program to do it then PM me. I have River Past Screen Recorder, and I can e-mail it to you.

They won't play for me. It says "error downloading codec." Where can I get the codec to play them?

This is silly.

I know you are a good player, but no one is good enough to assuredly quadruple their stacks on 8 simultaneous table in the allotted time of a video.

There have been times when I have been 8 tabling full ring and running like a beast and I was still having to rebuy occasionally on a couple of tables, even if I was up 5 or 6 stacks on a few of my other tables.

If I am talking out of my element here, and you really can do this, then you need to show me how to play poker immediately.

I would think it could be done for sure but you'd need to sit at the same 8 tables for probably 2-3 days.

I think in a 16 hour session of 8 tables 100nl full ring on party I could accomplish this, assuming none of the ables break up (...).

Hey, guys.

Just thought I'd let you all know, if anyone wants to contribute poker videos (with audio commentary, please), we have been working on a page for such videos.

Here is an example. This is a DEMO only. Do not bookmark this page, as the location will change, but it will give you an idea of what we want to do.

http://www.flopturnriver.com/poker-v...ker-videos.php

Send me a PM when you have your video ready. I'll give you login info for our FTP directory so you can upload your videos. I'll take care of compressing it and make it streaming.

Most people use Camtasia for capturing (www.camtasia.com), but you can use whatever you want as long as you include the codec.

I will make a comilaiton, i record a lot of my sessions when i 6 table, and if i record for 2 hours i might only get like 25 good hands.

So i will make a compilation of hands.

It will contain 25nl/50nl.

Look out in about 1-2 weeks

cool thanks man. i just found www.pokeravi.com. i guess it's linked to 2+2 but it looks like anyone can upload vids there. you just have to email the webmaster or whoever it is. pretty neat and whoever records themselves could put their vid up there if they want until ftr makes its own vid page.

I'm experimenting with this cammedia product. f---, these recording files take up a lot of space. I had a 4 minutes video that was 70 MB. I am in the process of converting to flash but just this 4 minute video took 15 mins to convert. I see this being really difficult to record a 2 hr session. Thoughts on how to optimize recording settings and swf format settings?

I can handle the compressing. Just send me the raw video, if you want to submit it for our videos page.

Yeah this is great. I've had the same ideas for something like this as well.

Hopefully one day I'll get good enough at poker to start making my own videos and actually give useful advice to people

it works best with 800x600 recording size and if you d/l an xvid codec you can keep the video quality at 0. you can also you keyboard shortcuts to pause/unpause.
