You have Ax in LP and there is a standard 3x raise, I know it's sketchy to call here but lets assume you do. Flop comes AAQ. Opponent bets the pot can you get away???? NL by the way .5/1 pot was $12.

Yes, you can.
By folding preflop.
Ax doesn't play well becuase you get outkicked frequently.

Which is exactly why I put in the qualifier maybe its your favorite hand maybe its suited or maybe you just have a good read on the guy for whatever reason you call...what then.

Alright. It comes down to reads. If the guy is aggressive every time he preflop raises, you've got the best of it. If he's tight/weak, you're probably outkicked or staring down Queens full.
If you put in a re-raise and get pushed, not many hands are going over top of you and losing (especially since they raised preflop.) I think with deep stacks, a reraise/fold line would be best.

Wow I hope to be at your level someday. QQ was what he had and I made a bad call. caught my x card on the river for a higher boat. I dont know that in the near future I will be able to lay down trip Aces but if I do I will definitely build a shrine to the all knowing 500lb gorilla.
