Post subject: Any Suggestions for Multiple Tables?

I currently play 16 tables at a time. This is how I've hit 17 royal flushes in less then 3 years of playing. I'm an ultra tight player. I do make money but want to make more.
I have 4 screens and two computers and can use my left mouse as good as my right. Took some time.
How do you change your game as you increase the number of tables you play?
Just looking for suggestions.

if you are serious, jump down in limits and tables and play poker instead of that "sets and flushes" strategy. build a bankroll, move up and make money.
if you are not, gg me.

Ah. This explains your uber-nittiness. Do you have PokerTracker? Some stats to look at would be good.

Based on your previous post about your playing style I say you could make more playing 4-6 tables than you are now, easily. Not only that, but you can avoid repetitive stress injury to your wrists.
We do tend to play more formulaic, straight up poker when multitabling because we don't have time to watch and get good reads on everyone. However, playing 16 tables has made you abandon playing poker at all and just play a severe nutpeddling strat. Take the advice of the posters in your other thread and open up dramatically preflop, and expand your postflop play. Unless you plan on getting 2 more computers and using your feet to let you play another 16 tables I think you've hit a ceiling.

Funny you say that about repetitive stress, Thinking about getting a support for my left wrist.
I do understand I could make more per table playing less tables but I'm a bonus whore of whores.
I believe I make up for any lost performance with bonuses.
So i'm looking for simple advice to improve on being a severe nutpeddler.

Okay, this makes your other post make more sense. From what you said in the other post, here's my simple advice--
1) you're playing overpairs totally wrong. They should generally be played fast, not slow.
2) you need to open up your starting hands and your reraising range.
3) raising makes you harder to deal with, not easier.
I also think you should cut your tabling by half. You'd still clear the shit out of bonuses eight-tabling and also be able to play some actual poker.

I think you should listen to those guys and play less tables at a time and better poker.
However, with a 19 inch monitor with resolution of 1600x1200 you'd be able to play 9 tables on one screen.

Somebody from FTR should take it upon themselves to set a world record for multitabling. 36 tables, 1 hour, 0 sit outs. Extra points if you can earn a profit.

if you are going to do this many tables try changing the cards and table
http://www.holdemreview.com/index.ph...ker-card-mods/
http://www.pokermods.com/mods/#cardmods
and for a world record it should be at least 200NL, at least 8 hours and show a profit
good luck

in case you haven't figured it out yet, no one is impressed by the number of tables you play. if you could play 16 tables and be more than very marginally profitable, then you'd have something to brag about.

Wondering if you've picked up any good poker books lately. I've read quite a few, and I still think Super System on NLHE was a great read to break out of nitty play. The way Doyle talks about his play really helped me ramp up my game, and it was probably the 15th poker book I've read.
Also, you could think about it as an investment, and put a portion of your BR into an "aggression" fund. Then you could track your "aggressive" sessions and see how you do. Probably best to play a couple hours, review your hands, and post a couple of your "craziest" ones for us.

With that many tables open, he's going to have about 2 seconds per hand to make a decision on what to do, which made me blink when I saw the post about "raising with AA, KK" etc.
Ok, I'm only playing three/four tables and not making that much money (ok, not making money at all!) but with pretty much all of those I am raising for value pre-flop. I can't think of a reason _not_ to raise them pre-flop (except for AQ or less when people have raised before).
I was about to suggest another book on poker, but with a 2 second interval to make a decision, I'd say it would be worthless for you.
