My opponent is a thinking TAgg who I've recently learned is capable of floating, raising with air and all sorts of little things that build up his stack nice. Prior to witnessing this behavior I had him pegged as weak/tightish.
My table image sucks and he's probably got me at between a 15-20PFR and he's picked off my little no-showdown-value-did-you-hit-that bets before.
He might be on tilt as a pretty good regular just owned him for 2 buy-ins in back-to-back hands.

no offense, as you are a much more experienced player than i. however, where did you induce the bluff?
he could have slowed the flush w/ KcXc.
he could feel his Q is good when you check the A and flush, and could be thinking it is YOU that is bluffing, and he could be good.
couldnt you be just as easily up against A5s or AJ?
i guess i dont see how you induced a bluff, as if you pwned this guy, when it looks like a standard line w/o a cbet to me.

LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.
Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!

I think this guy has to be bluffing as it's been checked down and he has no reason to think Fnord will bet the river when he checks it OOP as he's shown weakness throughout the hand.
If I'm understanding this correctly then this is what induces the bluff:

There's probably exactly 1 hand that plays like this and is not a bluff, AX. Only AJ beats you so, easy call. No 2-pair+ is going to check three times. Anything worse with showdown value (7, T, 66 etc) would just call the bet on the end.
I almost wonder if it's worth a 3-bet, because he might call with A8. Probably not, on the chance that he just screwed up and meant to bet the river with a good hand.

Um, if you're picking off a bluff, where's the re-raise? You should only call this if you believe you're behind, right?

why would you call it if you thought you were behind?
If villains range here is
bluff (nothing at all) - 99.99999999999%
something that beats us - the rest
Then theres no point reraising since he will only call the reraise with something that beats us (unless you seriously think reraising will induce a re-bluff).
