Dealt with 99, 1010, JJ. Raise standard preflop, one or two callers. No overcards come on the board and it is a rainbow so we bet 2/3 of the pot. Everyone folds and we take it down.
With no overcards, is it better to bet lighter hoping one person calls and we can increase the size of the pot? Or even if you're first to act do a check/raise to try to build a pot even though if an overcard comes you might shoot yourself in the foot?

Umm no. Micro stakes is no place to get tricky. Just bet the standard, don't get cute with it. If they fold, you scoop a small pot. Next...

Disagree with the above poster. On rainbow/low flops we can bet like half pot or a little more because usually people don't have anything and when they do, we lose the least and when they have some random hand we'll win the most. It's obviously player dependent but that's the gist. You can also use this strategy on like YXX boards where Y= high card and X = low card and the flop is not drawy.
Also, as you move up stakes people will think you are just stealing the pot so they'll c/r more often but now make the pot a lot smaller and we can procede depending on villain.

You generally want to be enough that you dont entice a bluff that you dont want to call.

On dry boards I tend to bet less more often.
On wet boards I tend to bet more less often.
