Sorry for the noob question but I am currently bankrolled for 50NL and I have just deposited at Absolute Poker to start working on clearing their bonus. When I join a $0.25/$0.50 table I can sit down with a maximum of $100 when on other sites it has been a maximum of $50. Are these tables 50NL or 100NL or does that depend on what I sit down with? I would like to manage my bankroll accordingly.

Thanks

blind size determines stakes.
However, at AP you can buy in 200bbs deep (awesome when your the bets player in the game) so while you can buy in for $100 you are still playing 50nl.

Thanks for the reply. I have just moved from playing two tables to four tables (my current bankroll is $2000 and I am playing full ring) and if I sit at four tables with $100 that is 20% of my bankroll. Is that too much in these circumstances?

not really, just remember you are 200bbs deep and adjust accordingly.

Number of tables never matter for bankroll management. Playing four tables for 1 hour is basically the same as playing 1 table for 4 hours. It doesn't affect variance or win rate (unless you play slightly worse because of playing too many tables).

Don't we just want to have the table covered?

i dont buy in 200bbs deep because it gives the impression im not a regular, which in fact i am and you'd be surprised at how much this effects the regs play against me.
Saying that, now i have an idea how most play its probably more advantageous to buy in deep.

I don't understand why buying in deep would affect your image that way? Because you are buying for 100bb you must be a fish?
I started a new job so don't play much ATM, just FTP mini grind

i dont think this is as much of the case as buying in for 200bbs makes you *NOT* look like a fish.
