i have been playing sh25nl and have been trying to adopt an ultra aggressive approach...raising a-j+, any pp, and sometimes k-js or q-js from most positions, except i'll only raise my better hands from the blinds. c-bet a lot and take down small pots...hit the occasional monster and get played back at for a huge pot. now i broke even for a bit and even made a little bit, but i have found it to be pretty much not proffitable. i feel like it could be a couple possibilites...

a) i suck at poker...........

b) i am unlucky..........

or c) ultra agressive play at 25nl is pointless and usually unprofitable because, while it may work at very specific tables for a few short rounds, eventually is what happens is eveyone calls your pf raises up to 8xbb, and also people will call you down w/ absolute complete shit, which ought to be profitable....but isn't. the only time i have had this type of play work for me is if i am able to show down several huge hands very early and build a big chip stack...otherwise i'm screwed. now really this isn't a problem because i can play tagg and all i have to do is readjust...but i really want to be able to move high up in limits and play this style poker so i am trying it out at the limits i am comfortable so i don't have to learn to play like this for a whole lot of money.

so basically i am just wondering if anyone thinks ultra agressive style play can be profitable at 25nl and i suck, or if i am stupid for thinking it would work at 25nl because basically for this to work i need to not be playing w/ fish (i'm assuming this is correct but i wonder if anyone has been quite successfull playing good uber agressive poker at low limits?)

you are just wrong. it is profitable, you actually have lots of errors in your play if you can't beat it

Hmm, I have played 25 NL a lot and I dont see any point to
be ultra-aggressive. I think the best way to make money
in 25NL is to get good hand and betting it heavily.

No need to play marginal hands there.
