Well I meant I know I'm dominated, but does it ever warrant a call searching for 2pair / draw?

Can't call hoping for a draw because you'll be OOP and unable to extract if you hit. And he's unlikely to give you odds to draw. If you're searching for 2pair/trips (not As!) you'd be better off with 72o because at least you know your outs are live.

Nothing should automatically be an always-fold.
What do we know about the raiser?
Does he raise all sorts of shite from any position? Is this his first raise in 90 hands?
In the first case, A9zooted may be playable (or you can even repop if you're feeling your stones). However, you need a pretty decent read to do this sort of thing.
In absence of any other information and against an UTG raise, this is a fold. If we know that the raiser is stupidly loose, things can change.

I would only call this raise if you had 2 or 3 other callers in with it. Then you can play for two pair/trips/FD.
Although if you were playing a 70/30 you could probably call or reraise.

Nothing in poker is automatic.
I'll fold with no reads, but tend to call more often pending his raising habits. It all depends on everything.
