I am a novice with around 300 s+g/tourneys under my belt. I ask for advice on a hand / situation.
3 hours into 2.5m Moneymaker rnd 1 on pstars I have 20,000 chips ( about 1/3 the average ) I get QKos in BB. Blinds were about 600/1200, I think. 3 callers and flop is Q47 rainbow. It is checked round to me so I go all in and get done by 44. Is this a bad play or is there an alternative play I should have used. The table history was that the big stacks were all over any of my attempts to steal or get involved in a hand.

Any advice would be welcome thanks.

It was checked around to you, 3600 in the pot. In this situation id just bet the pot to see if anyone was lying to me. This also doesnt commit you to the pot as an all in (obv.) does. This was a very novice play, you risked ~18K for a 3600 pot.

Sprayed is on a distinguished road
Why would you push all in with just top pair? Throw a 1/2 to 2/3 pot bet out there. If called play it safe on the the turn and river if no scare cards. If reraised, time to fold or call depending upon the reraise amount and any reads you may have on villain. It's all situational, but I don't think that a push is called for here in this situation. You want to extract chips. The only hands that will call your push are those that beat you.

Thanks, I realize that it was amateurish. I tend to feel intimidated when short stacked and am not confident in my post flop play. I will keep reading and playing.

TLR is an unknown quantity at this point
with 3 limpers I would probably raise it 3BB from the BB to shake off some of the limpers
