i pretty much butchered this hand. any thoughts on all streets welcome.

As nitty as this may sound, I just fold pre. A fairly nitty player is 3betting ur UTG raise and your not going to get much post flop value from QQ on a Axx or Kxx board.

As played fold flop QQ/KK/AA al have u beat. The best you could hope for is a slip AK.

Yeah but if he's half decent he is 3betting a lot in LP vs MP/LP raises and like never 3betting a UTG raise without the goods.

I think on the turn 2 barrel, we can safely assume vill. is holding QQ,KK, or AA. I actually lean more toward QQ, KK.

Preflop I"m not so willing to fold AKs as I am AK. Especially to a solid player who is 3betting 4% (That means he DOES 3bet bluff.)

Think about the way a 3betting strategy works. We 3 bet ppl UTG sparingly, when we have a good hand, as their range is strong. We 3bet late opens, a large amount, as their range is weak.

This way we have a decent 3b %, but we are being selective to who and where we are applying it.

What you're saying, is kind of like saying a 12/9 player is opening 9% of hands UTG and 9% on the button - which is clearly incorrect.

Your right. He's not 3betting a wide enough range here. +our position is shitty at best.
