Default AK BTN VS. SB BET TURN??

Dude was 27-4 over 140 hands very passive player seen him station twice.

    Merge Network $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players -
    UTG: $3.74
    UTG+1: $3.03
    MP: $4.06
    CO: $8.25
    Hero (BTN): $4.00
    SB: $2.82
    BB: $4.06

Pre Flop: ($0.06) Hero is BTN with A K
2 folds, MP raises to $0.11, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.26, SB calls $0.24, 2 folds

    Flop: ($0.67) Q 5 Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.44, SB calls $0.44

    Turn: ($1.55) 4 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks??? Should I fire here?

    River: ($1.55) 9 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks ?? if I bet turn should I bet here??

at the time I didn't bet turn b/c of how much calls with marginal hands but is this how I should play it? he can't have a Q and check turn and river. But I felt he still might call with something that beats us. What do you guys think?

Villain's PFR of less than 3x BB is pretty odd. Is this how they opened the other 5 times? Or is this something new?

Your 3-bet sizing is too small; raise 3 - 5 times the previous bet when you 3-bet. Use 3x for unknown or strong post-flop players. Use 4x up to 5x for super aggro pre-flop villains or villains who do not defend well post-flop. Raise to at least $0.33 for pre-flop 3-bet.

Check the flop. You're not repping the Q with a bet. If you had a Q, you would be better off to let Villain peel a free card so that you can get paid. You're not repping the 5 because you 3-bet pre and there's not much with a 5 in it that you would do that with. Your bet on the flop is an attempt to rep KK or AA (maybe JJ or TT depending on your own 3-bet %).

Bet/fold the turn. You have checked the flop, indicating to Villain that you're not merely bluffing on every board. You are ahead of any Ax hand that is not AQ or A5. You have picked up the NFD. You have 15 outs to beat any PP or 5x pocket. You have 9 outs to beat a slow-played Qx.

Check/fold the river. No hero calls against passive players.

3bet more preflop, 0.35-0.4 seems ok to me.

dont bet flop because you have no FE. always bet this flop w/ KK/AA, TT/JJ/AQ/KQs if they are in your 3bet range and they should be since you are BTN.

    b/f turn like 0.4-0.45.

A/K/spade rivers just call if he bets , but fold to a shove. b/f if he checks. fold to bet or check back any other river.

as played, check back turn and river.
All posts are just my own opinion about a hand or a general situation... not advices on how you should play...

This is standard on Merge 4NL preflop, MP and Hero. The odd one is the cold called 3bet which happens about the square root of never. If I'm at the table, I'm treating it like the immortal nuts.

    Don't 3bet pre, he's too tight.

A cbet just doesn't fold any better hands and is burning money vs his tight range (88+ always calling).

Try going through your reasoning in your head each time you've got a decision to make, make sure you're not clicking buttons.

edit : got mixed up between MP and SB, anyway still don't cbet here if you've seen him station before. Your hand is the nut no pair, better rarely folds.

3b too small. he shows up with? small PP/made small pair? your asking because maybe turn barrel pushes him off? If hes stationing down then checking turn/river is good meh whaddya gonna do. Small PFR% tho, hes looking for some kinda CR with a biggie? and/or just paranoid about u having a Q. Either way give up after flop.
