Aggression number in poker tracker.

I play very tight preflop, and I believe I'm a bit of a maniac post flop. Do my aggression numbers on the flop/turn seem high to you guys?

This is over 10k hands in full ring games. 8+ people.

Aggression #'s

Preflop .58
Flop 4.24
Turn 4.18
river 1.36

Overall 1.62

My flop/turn #seem a bit high to you guys?
I'll look for some hands later to post with.

not sure which game you're talking about, but here are my stats for comparison. i feel like i border on a RAg (rock aggressive) at limit (vp$ip = 14.91), and am a solid TAg at the no limit full table ring game (vp$ip = 18.21).

no limit

preflop --.59
flop ------6.67
turn -----3.20
river ----2.60
overall --1.34

limit

preflop --.64
flop ------2.23
turn -----2.33
river ----2.48
overall --1.35

if your stats are for no limit, they mirror mine, which i would explain as playing aggressively when you've flopped something, or are trying to semibluff.

if your stats are for limit, is it that you're initially playing really aggressively, and then slowing down on the river?
i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...

5/10 6 max 1,360 hands

flop: 3.25
turn: 2.85
river: 2.49

Remember, aggression isn't just about betting/raising. It's also about being able to laydown a loser.

Thanks for bringing that up.
I keep thinking i'm better than these fish and refuse to lay a hand down against them.

This month I've taken about 4% more hands to the river than I did last month, I'm playing about 9k hands a month.

Last month 2.7BB/100 hands.
This month .5/100 hands.

I need a break from poker.....

Case and point, I was showing my father 6 max.

.5/1 PS 6 max, a couple soft spots but not a very good table.
99 in the BB.
EP Raises
MP Cold calls
I call.

Flop is JT4 rainbow.

EP bets, MP calls, I fold.

Yeah, after having two losing (a lot) sessions, last night i figured it was time to evaluate what was going wrong. I wasn't laying down nearly as much as I should have. I was winning pots with good cards, but when I was beat soundly, I was still hitting the call button with second pair.... very fishy of me. Or LAggy, as I was raising sometimes

As soon as I started laying down more hands, my profits got out of the red, and I'm way up over the past two days.

Fishstick - you should try playing 6-max using fnord's starting hands that he posted a few days ago as a guideline. More variance than rock-play at a full table, but much more potential for profits as the players are often weak. (Thank you very much, fnord, by the way. Those have worked great so far! I had sat down at them before, but wasn't sure of the better hands to play)
If I had a hammer
I'd drop in the morning
I'd drop in the evening..

POST FLOP MANIAC! :P
