hey whats up everyone. ive been playing with my friends for awhile now, and been playin online for a couple months. and this friday ill get a chance to play live with people ive never met before, i believe about 30 people.... its gonna be a $2NL with no antes or anything. i usually play a pretty tight/semi aggressive game. should i just stay with this and what i know best until i get to know everyones style a little better? they also have $20 tourneys twice a week that ill be going to. so any advice would be much appreciated

Pay really close attention to their eyes, breathing, pulse and subtle hand movements.

If they twitch when they go AI, insta call!

But seriously, if its 2 NL you might as well just go and have fun. They'll be so many other poor players that you'll just have to play tight and aggro to show a big profit.

Greedo017 is on a distinguished road
Two tips:

1. If they say something like, "I Have A Full House", or, "I have pocket aces", fold.

2. If they sit there and think for twenty minutes, then push, while leaning back in their chair with their arms not crossed, fold.

Beware of the guy not trying to draw attention to himself. In live play I've learned to spot the stealth raise pre-flop and the quiet call.

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.
