Get pocket Aces, spades n Clubs

M1 raises to 20 cent
several folds
Hero Raise to 60 cent
M1 calls

Flop Three spades, low cards
M1 check
Hero- sits for about 15 seconds raise 1/2 pot
M1 call
Turn spade
M1 check
Hero wait a few seconds check
River-club or something, no high cards on board, no pairs

m1 checks
Hero pauses for a few seconds raises 1$
M1 raises 2.50
Hero-reraise to 5.25$
M1 fold


What do I need to change here? Could I have gott'n his stack? Were any of those decisions -EV?

Don't slowplay.

Slow playing is only for MONSTERS that are not vulnerable. And even then, at these stakes I'm still not slowplaying.

Bet/raise and you will often be suprised at what decided to call you.

Don't slowplay.

I'll tell you why i did it, and you'll say Tsk Tsk. As should be the response.

Earlier I had a great hand against him. He called my near pot sized raises to catch a flush. and stacked me cuz i thought "SURELY a guy a couple buy'ns worth at the table who's been play'n tight would understand pot odds." Nope.

This I know is rediculous, and don't think that I wen't on "Tilt" because this was about an hour later, and I more than double'd my second buy-in already. I just thought I'll lure him in for the full amount. anyway still
