Would like any input I could get on this, especially the call on the end. There are just enough crazies that I thought it might be worth looking him up with 2.3 to 1 odds to see the showdown. Thanks!

Not a fan of the call to be honest.

I can't exactly articulate why though. I think the river bet was just too big.
The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

I'm not a real big fan of the way you played anything post-flop. You're playing short with AA. You need to look to get it AI on any street, if you can.

I also suspect the villan put you on a busted draw on the river, especially after checking the turn. Shove.

Don't like much of it at all other than pre-flp raise. I think $1 or even pot after the flop to give him the real test. After all you have 4 to the nuts and if he comes over the top well you know he's made it...imo

The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

MP never raised or showed any strength until the river, i think a call here might be -ev, but it would be good to see how he plays this type of board, giving you some sort of read for future decisions.
also giving you a conservative image, in the future if you check on the river, he might be ahead but check incase your your ahead of him holding aces again
