I like the flop raise on such a drawy board.
I like the large turn bet.
What hands are there that you beat that can also call your river bet? His FD's bricked, AK probly didn't make it to the river, QQ may be scared of the king depending on how good he is.
On the other hand he has already put in more than half the effective stacks so maybe QQ and a jack would call that bet.

i was contemplating just checking the river with that exact line of thinking, but when i looked at how much money i had left behind in comparison to how much was in the pot, i figured i could get value from a J or QQ

i dont really like slow playing aces because if you let someone else catch you have to ask your self how dumb do i feel wasting aces and will i fold them if he hit.

i like your bet sizings on the flop and turn.. i think the river is pretty standard and i probably play the same way.
However.. if i had more behind me i think im checking this river.

You set yourself up for a river shove, and I don't think the villain will check a big hand on the river with $10.95 left and a $30.25 pot. It just doesn't make sense. I say shove here since you'll be laying the villain 4:1 to his money and the betting is consistent with QQ, a big J, or KQhh here. All of those hands may pay you off when you're giving him 4:1 odds.
I usually like to try to keep pots small on wet boards with aces, so I might check the turn here for pot control. I don't like committing myself to a river shove if a flush or straight card comes, but maybe that's just me being too conservative.
As played, however, I shove the river.

Im really not too experienced with ranges but trying to think more about them.. but with that being said:
what do we think villains calling range on the river here is if we shove? AQo seems a little dubious.. very bad if villain got there with that..

ahhh good point, so he can't have the nut flush draw here which i guess makes it more likely he'll call the river bet since that takes out some hands that would call flop/turn but not river.

IMO, given that you said he's a nit, I check the turn and even possibly the river.
I doubt he's on a FD...unless he called your PF bet with KhQh but he probably wouldnt call with less than that.
I think, by the turn he has TT+, AJ-AQ(for inside draw, although he prob wouldnt call AQ on the turn bet to hit it...)
I cant see what he's calling you with that you beat other than QQ or AJ...

I agree with most of the posts here - good flop and turn bet, although him calling on the turn makes me a little wary. I think I might check behind on the river. If this guy missed his flush he's not calling your bet anyway and I can see him calling down with KK here.
