Should this be an easy 3bet (sizing?) or fold?
It's FR rush. (No info apart from BTN was 17/17 over 6 hands and limper was 22/11 over 9)

BTN BTN($13.95)

3 folds, MP2 calls $0.10, 2 folds, BTN raises to $0.45, 1 fold, Hero?

Fair enough. So you'd just fold it with one behind?

I don't see why we can't call here getting 40 to 1 implied odds with the possibility of a 3 way pot, even if the other person is only 40som deep

IMO, cold call for set mine with great odds and possible multiway pot is good idea. BTN range is likely 22-AA and any suited connectors above our 99 so we are flipping at best in more situations than not.
3 bet squeeze without reads may lead to a easy 4 bet fold or a call (or 2) with a AdQd8s board which of course, we cant play much less win.

Even if you use a 20x (call size to stack size) multiplier to set mine you are getting more than enough to call. Plus there is another player in the hand that will likely contribute to the pot and potentially pay you off big should you hit a set. So folding is out of the question.
You could ReRaise. *If* there is a high probability that your opp is full of it and will fold, this play has significant merit. I don't see a significant upside to ReRing of your preflop folding equity is low. If your opp(s) will mostly likely call a ReR, being out of position with a very mediocre hand that hates lots of flops with a lot invested is a poor situation to put yourself into. My opps would almost always call a ReR here. Thus, I would almost always just call.
Finally, I would note that a raise after a limp is greater show of strength then an open raise from the button. Although, there do seem to be quite a few players who raise from the button with junk.
