I played today against that InSeng guy at the micros on Full Tilt. He made a few weird plays so I looked him up on pokertableratings. The "guy" has 710,000 hands of full ring at the micros since June 1st 2009! That is in excess of 3900 hands per day, every day. At 1 minute per hand, 12 tabling, that is 325 minutes or 5 1/2 hours a day EVERY GODDAMN DAY! And he is not even breaking even.

Note also that he has a BOT score of 79 (!!).

One really weird play he did was as follows: preflop I raise 4BB. I get one caller. InSeng re-raises to 15BB. Then a guy behind who had been ultra loose-aggro-donk for a long time did a less than min re-raise to 26BB. I and first caller folded. Inseng... folds! Doesn't make much sense, does it? You have a hand strong enough to re-raise a caller and a raiser, but you fold to a min-reraise from a 100% donk? Some may say that he was trying a squeeze... Well... give me a break, this is the micros: squeezes don't work!

So human or machine?

If I am able to spot this, I would hope Full Tilt would have seen it too. Seems to me they are not as serious as Poker Stars when it comes to BOT hunting.

Don't get me wrong: I am not pissed off because I lost to him or anything. I just want to play a real game with real players. That is all I am interested into.

I think you need much more than "this guy loves poker, but sux!" to say anything that could hurt a guys reputation. Though if you're really concerned, you could just message full tilt and they'll look into it...though if hes not a bot, and they think he is, then you just made a guy lose a few days of poker because he had to validate his identity.

It was more a question to the hardcore multitablers out there: is it humanly possible to play 12 tables for almost 6 hours a day every single day? Would you do that for fun (no profit)?

Is a BOT score of 79 on pokertableratings nothing unusual?

Yeah, it's easily possible for a determined player to do that.

Straight up though, if he's a net loser at 5NL he sucks beyond belief, and rather than wondering whether or not to try to report him, you should be looking at ways of making money off him.

lol wtf is this

I've played 118,000 hands so far this month and I'm not even done yet. Yes I'm human..this is super standard.

and lol oh no he 3bet/folded ITS OKAY TO 3BET FOLD. just cuz someone raise/folded at 5nl doesn't mean they're a bot.

fwiw my volume this month is on pace for his 710,000 in 6 months gig.

and man, I played 9100 hands the other day, if anything you should be accusing me of being a bot, go ahead and report me I'll out my SN for you if you want.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

OK, that seemed an awful lot to me. If his fold was not suspicious, then it was stupid, because he had the odds to call even if he had a smaller pocket pair than the donk, who can hardly be put on a pocket pair at all.

What about the BOT score on pokertableratings? is that significant or not? I see that spoonitnow, who was wrongly accused to be a bot multiple times , has only a bot score of 40+.

nah its insignificant man

as for his fold people will do the strangest things inpoker

I wouldn't rely on that site too much for the ratings etc it gives. as for keeping record of hands played/profits, its alright but not 100% accurate - enough to paint the picture basically.

it is very much possible for someone to play this many hands in such a timeframe. Maybe he has a sit at a night desk with zero interruptions type of job and 16-tables 5nl through his 12hr shifts as a way to pass the time.

However, i think that there is a chance that he is a bot. It is difficult to not suck enough to lose at a huge rate, but suck enough not to get to breakeven or better.

either way, his game is super-exploitable. Obviously you gotta think about min-4betting him occasionally, and if he plays that many hands then you'll be seeing a lot of him = enjoy taking his money, bot or not.

I work fu!@#!%$ 65+ hours a week at my real job. Nobody at work ever accused me of being a bot.

Playing 6 hours of online poker a day would be a cakewalk compared to my schedule.

Now show me someone who plays 120+ hours of online poker a week and possibly they are a bot, but more likely an account sharer. (also against TOS)

If he is losing why do you want to out him as a bot? Take his maoney-bot or not.

How do you play 1,000,000 hands of full ring in a month? 16 tabling, even if each hand lasted only 45 seconds average, that would be 26 hours of play a day... for a whole month.

Am I missing something here?

And I don't care about the money. What I am interested into and what I am paying Full Tilt for is to provide me with the interface to play against humans, not f&()ing bots.

And don't tell me there are no bots on these sites. Have a look at pokerai.org. Full Tilt is their favorite target.

Unless Ive been leveled, he failed that challenge.

@daviddem: Chiren 24 tabled and switched to 6max turbos when he got tired. He was pulling 33k hands a day iirc until he had to cut 3 days for a reason i forgot.

Also, why are you playing poker if you dont care about money?

What I mean is that I don't play for a living and that my bankroll does not at all represent a significant portion of my income.

I play online to learn and improve my game. I do care whether I win or loose.

What bothers me here is that if a significant number of players out there are breakeven bots, then it is not real poker anymore.

Mass tabling breakeven players stack fish all day and give the monies back to better players.

Be the better player imo.
