Villain is unknown
Preflop range is : AQs+,66+,AQo+ (24+54 = 78 combos)
My equity is 29.5%, I call because I am on the button.
Flop: My equity against on the flop against his preflop range is now 42%, but he is likely c-beting most of his range, except 66-99, so that makes his range AQs+,AQo+, TT+ (24+3+24).
The reason I raise instead of call is because I want to fold out better flush draws, which my raise should do plus if 66+ was c bet i drop out those hands and maybe jj and qq. Against the remaining range of TT,KK,AA I have 33% equity. So if he reraises all in I would need to call 17 into a pot of 31 or basically 33%.
I still suck at these situations so this might be dumb against an unknown.

His range misses the flop most of the time so your implied odds are low and your fold equity is high which combine to form CAPTAIN PLANET aka semi-bluff time.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

You need to elaborate on this, simply being on the button alone does not justify why you can call with this hand. Think how your hand plays against his preflop range when you are in position.

If you think he's c-betting AQ then he most likely c-bets 66-99 as well.

Better flush draws are not folding guaranteed, and you should not be eliminating them from his bet/calling or bet/raising range on this flop. Expecting him to fold JJ and QQ is overly optimistic as well.
The main reason you should raise here is b/c he will have a very hard time continuing unless he has either a big hand or a big draw, so your fold equity is relatively high in this spot. He also probably won't re-raise with his 10x hands, which gives you an opportunity to improve by the river.

caddie444. That really adds more clarity. I guess I call this because I like playing 67s vs UTG raiser than a CO raiser as their likely ranges are tighter.

How do you get 78 combos? I get:
{AQs+, 66+, Aqo+} = {2*4combos, 9*6combos, 2*12combos} = {8,54,24} = 86 combos total.
No?

Oops! Of course it does. So, preflop, that leaves only 3 combos for 66 and 3 for 77 (7s is also a blocker), so 6 combos removed by the blockers, that makes 80 instead of 86. I still don't get to 78 though. Help!

Preflop range is : AQs+,66+,AQo+ (24+54 = 78 combos)
AA= 6
KK=6
QQ=6
JJ=6
TT=6
99=6
88=6
77=3
66= 3
=48
AK (o+s)=16
AQ (s+o)=16
48+16+16 =80
Thats what I arrive at. ATM

I did re-read it, I did recalculate, and I still get 80 combos. What am I missing here?
!Luck, sorry for the hijack.
