No reads on villian, based on his play I thought he had a flush/straight draw and when he reraised me the turn I knew he had it. So i thought this could be a good way to maximize winnings?
What do you think?

if i saw your river bet in a bar, theres be like 19 dudes hitting on her. Shes that sexy. his raising range on the turn is flushes, sets that we beat now, and other two pairs. most of these have trouble folding to a massive riverbet and villain cant really have anything that beats us except 65. If we c/r the river that sucks cuz he might check behind a few times for dumbass reasons, and he might be able to fold to a large c/r if he bets out just because we c/r-ed.
i think the rest is good too. NH

river overbet shoves hey? thats probably one spot where i'm missing out on $$ at the micros. his turn raise pretty much turned his hand face up and gave you incredible implied odds in the event of hitting a 4 outer. nice one.

Well I feel better now at least he leveled you too. QQ and those aren't tears they are his queens kicking me out of the bar and throwing my 200bb deep stack into the trash.

imo that was a very thin part of his range compared to flushes, albeit a thin part i missed. i still like the river bet, assuming he calls with all flushes and flopped sets (we now beat them). timely reminder for myself not to discount or ignore certain unlikely or hidden hands from villain's ranges.

That bet was cute...I kinda liked it. Sucks that you ran into the nuts...it happens.

P.S. Please post this kind of stuff in the Tilt forum. We both know that's where it belongs!

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

I do not think it belongs in tilt forum. I was just wondering if this is a good strategy to employ.

It's good when the villein has a very big value range that you have completely smashed (flushes, worse FH's and straight's) and will stack off to any bet- i.e. does not get relative hand strength.
