In many of the posts that I have read, i have noticed that many players do so well playing 6max NL ring instead of full tables. I always play the full tables becasue I like hitting the blinds less and when I get a big hand there are more ppl (fish - since i player 10NL or 25NL on party) to call. Can someone plz explain what is so profitable or better with 6max? and why do so many ppl play these shorthanded games?

6 max players tend to be more aggressive and less likely to "believe" you when you have a monster i think. plus you get to play many more hands than at full ring. fwiw i play full ring usually cuz it's more laid back.

weaker hands playing bigger pots, easier to tagert 1 bad player to beat up.

I started playing 6max many moons ago, but ive recently been doing very well at full ring. Of course, i have every intention of hopping over to 6max in a little while.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.

i think the tight multi-tablers love to play full ring - I think that 6 max brings out a lot of the gamblers and people who want to be 1 hit wonders (at low limit NL anyway) - if your a good postflop player, i think there is lots of money to be made at 6max NL - you can play more tables at full ring, but i've found that i play too mechanically doing full ring - 6max makes me think and adapt a lot - plus, yeah, you can really take advantage of weak players there -
