So far this guy is pretty crazy, though this is the first 4-bet I've seen him make so I pretty much have to give him credit right?

45/41/infinite ATS 80, 3-bet 22% over 22 hands

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) ($10.65)
UTG ($17.75)
MP ($2)
CO ($15.50)
Button ($2)
SB ($10.15)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, Q
2 folds, CO bets $0.40, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.60, CO raises to $4, Hero...........?

Does anyone like shoving here? And about that 3-bet preflop...perhaps call since we're oop against a spewtard and we have a hand that flops well against his range?

Coming from full ring I don't think I've ever 5-bet shoved AQs before...is it pretty standard against someone this laggy?

Calling PF is certainly +EV. However, 3betting is too, and I think I just shove it in here. We are 40% against TT+, AQ+, and given his stats (even over the small sample) I assume he puts it in with at least that range. And I think he is likely to 4bet a bit of a wider range, in which he either folds some portion of it or calls some portion of it which will increase our equity.

As far as which is more profitable, calling PF or 3bet/calling, I'm unsure. AQs is obviously miles ahead of his stealing range. So a call has to be +EV. And AQs is also going to be a hand that not only flops well, but will also often be a hand that when we miss we can put into our bluff range and make a bluff with a hand that will have decent equity on a lot of boards. However, if villain is calling a lot of 3bets, then not only is AQs still ahead of his range, but he will likely be forced to fold on alot of flops when his wide range misses, or we manage to outflop him.

Personally, I think it's fine either way, calling or 3bet/calling. But seriously, I'm not great at either 6m or playing from the blinds.

hah..good point. I guess I wasn't really expecting a 4-bet since I've been pretty quiet up until this point. I better make sure to have a plan for the hand next time. (Something I've read about but still need to remember to put into practice).
