Villain is 41/25/4.5 3b (1/22) after 47 hands, no postflop stats

First of all I'm not sure if I should even be bothering to open Q8s here. I think it's fine against the player pool in general but this is one of those awkward points where I'm not sure whether Q8s is a great hand to play OOP even vs a wide range especially as I'm losing my fold equity, the worse villain is post the more I think it's ok.

Flop check is probably bad, should just bet bet bet vs this guy with how things are shaping up.

    Turn is standard.

River I think is me being sick at poker, loads and loads of draws got there and I can't see villain folding any of them and even if he does fold like 98 I'm making so much when he does call. Only hands I'm worried about are A8 (unlikely to not bet and check imo), AA (3b by villain mostly and same as A8) and JJ which I think 3bs a fair bit but is most likely out of the hands that beat me.

    Discuss.

Can a mod move this to the Small Stakes forum and delete this post please, I'm an idiot.

Q8s is going to be fine as an open imo. It comes in at around the 30% mark, which is going to be okay for bvb against pretty much anybody.

I just barrel off all in over 3 streets here, including an overbet on the flop or turn unless the ace pairs.

Obviously I love the overbet as played because I love value overbets, especially at 5nl. There's not many villains at 5nl that fold a flush or straight here, which is pretty much what you can expect to see. 98cc is pretty sick if he has it, but Ax and 8x should be heavily discounted (bar 3 combos of a8), plus this guy likely 3bets JJ/AA/QQ pre.

I think raising pre-flop is a bit more than marginally +EV after the rake OOP here.

I like checking on this flop. His range is going to be so absurdly wide that even if he only bluffs something like 10 percent of the time, then I think we're in good shape here. He just has such an overwhelming amount of air here that I think it translates into some major league EV from picking off his bluffs. Moreover, I don't think he's going to check behind very many hands that he would have called a bet with at all. Maybe 99, but that seems to be about it. Generally speaking, I think that we should be playing a pretty exploitative strategy here of betting with an exceptionally weak range, etc.

On the turn, I'm betting, but I'm betting larger like 0.25 or 0.30.

I think that the river overshove is correct in this particular spot. The backdoor flush hit and he could have been slowplaying another eight. I don't know if he's always going to raise 100 percent of the time with these hands, but he's definitely never folding trips or better here considering his stats.

Easy game when the flush/straight card also gives us a full house. I'm curious how people, esp the OP, would have played...say 5c on the river.
Bet/fold? Bet/call? If so, how much of a bet and how big of a raise do you call/fold?
Check/call? Would that include a river shove?

I'm just curious as I find those rivers to occur far more often and be far more troublesome.
    Thanks
