One of these I played badly and got lucky and the other I played well and got unlucky. Or I may have played both bad or well. You decide for me.
I also installed Pokertracker and will definitely buy it when the free trial runs out. Once I learn to use it better I'll post villian stats in later posts.
1-Villian is Lagg and had been stealing blinds in many hands. He got caught several times but that didn't stop him. Once he got caught, he would finish the hands, calling bets and raising and not even have a pair.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (5 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
Hero (MP) ($5.01)
Button ($9.13)
SB ($8.75)
BB ($7.37)
UTG ($10.97)
Preflop: Hero is MP with Q , K
UTG raises to $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, Button calls $0.20, 2 folds
Flop: ($0.67) K , 4 , 7 (3 players)
UTG bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50, 1 fold
Turn: ($1.67) Q (2 players)
UTG bets $1.25, Hero raises to $2.50, UTG calls $1.25
River: ($6.67) A (2 players)
UTG bets $2, Hero ???
2-Button had just lost via bad beat and was on tilt. UTG was Lagg.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
BB ($1.90)
UTG ($4.71)
MP ($3.46)
CO ($2.95)
Button ($0.46)
Hero (SB) ($9.87)
Preflop: Hero is SB with 8 , 8
UTG raises to $0.10, MP calls $0.10, CO (poster) calls $0.05, Button raises to $0.46 (All-In), Hero calls $0.44, 1 fold, UTG raises to $0.82, 1 fold, CO (poster) calls $0.72, Hero calls $0.36
Flop: ($3.07) 7 , 5 , 9 (4 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, UTG bets $1, CO calls $1, Hero calls $1
I realize I may not should not have called here but I had 5 to 1 pot odds so I took a chance.
Turn: ($6.07) 6 Hero ???

Hand 1: shove turn
Hand 2: I usually check and hope to raise after trapping CO for a bet, but they usually check it down :/ I think leading is fine too

Hand 1: Don't know why I didn't shove. After looking at this it's obvious.
Hand 2: I led with$3 bet and all called.
So did I play both correctly except for the shove?
