villian is a very weird type of loose passive player... i've seen him chase really weird runner runner straights and flushes to the river but will fold to any river bet regardless of the size of the bet in comparison to the pot...

my range for him is really wide he'd play ATC suited 2-3 gapper cards preflop so essentially there's a potential runner runner flush draw for him on almost every flop...

with this in mind do we take a free card on the turn (i'm certain he will check behind the turn) or do we bet again...

 preflop seems pretty bad given your reads. Also if you wanna have any FE you're gunna have to make this like .85 or so, but there's no reason to bloat the pot with a hand like this that needs implied odds. I'd just call pre.

As played, $2 on turn seems good. we don't need much FE & that sets up a fine size for river shove when we hit.

 Fold equity literally means the % of the pot on average you're going to get from some bet because of people folding and you taking what's in the middle. It's used more liberally to mean the % of time people are going to fold, etc.

Your pre-flop bet size isn't very good because it gives them really good odds to call (thus lowering fold equity). Your reads suggest that he's a bit of a calling station, which also lowers fold equity (both pre- and post-flop).

As played, I don't know anything he folds on the turn that he would call with on the flop, so I'd think checking is best.

would the play be more profitable against nits with a higher raise preflop to like 85?..

generally you want the dudes that have a high fold to 3bet, you dont just wanna be squeezing nits raises out of position a lot if he is nitty pre but then likes to peel once he has a hand hes willing to call/raise once with.

id generally stick to squeezing in more obvious positions (especially at micro stakes) with an active ish tagg raising from mp/co and then some dude who likes position calling too much on the co/button. u dont just want to be 3betting oop all the time vs ppl who are going to call

Also vs fish with this hand why raise at all? you dont really wanna be bluffing someone who likes to call when ur oop with Q10
