if betting 1.30 into 1.86 is trying to induce a call, then you've been trained well (most people do like 1/2 PSB and miss out on value). don't be so much worried about inducing a call, though, because these people are clueless about bet sizing and be moreso conscious of his stack size so you can get the rest in. your bet sizing was good for that.

hand 2: cbetting here is spewy. after that don't think of it as "giving up" on the hand; think of it as checking it for showdown value. the more interesting question is if you're c/c'ing the turn or c/f'ing. that would be more read dependent

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Could you capitalize and use proper punctuation from now on?I remember reading somewhere that you required spaces and paragraph brakes of other posters so the "i" up there should be an "I" the "oh" should read "Oh" the "MP" should read "M.P." .I mean if you are going to require perfection of others, how about some perfection out of yourself?P.S.Don't forget the period at the end.

idk, in my games I get a lot of folds because a bet here looks stronger

so it's opponent-dependent and I guess only a king/flush draw calls if people give you credit for a strong hand when you DO bet it
so depending on how their pf ranges are distributed I wouldn't be surprised to get 30-50% folds here and sometimes we'll win the pot against a flush draw that decides not to bluff

which I think what might have happened here
but I also think against 5NL opponents these assumptions are not true, because they'll call with random shit like AsTc and then randomly decide to bluff and put you in a tough spot

so probably giving up is correct, but only if the people who called have wide ranges and won't instafold if they miss
