Donachello will become famous soon enough
This first one was a little weird. Villain was 32/32 over 15 hands or so, hadn't really seen him showdown anything though.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($4.11)
MP ($3.65)
CO ($5.07)
Button ($4.93)
Hero (SB) ($7.55)
BB ($5.90)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, Q
2 folds, CO bets $0.15, Button calls $0.15, Hero calls $0.13, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.50) J, 8, A (3 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.30, Button calls $0.30, Hero calls $0.30

I just called on the flop because I was putting him on A9+ which included the J and so I thought maybe he would reshove if I raised.

Turn: ($1.40) 8 (3 players)
Hero bets $0.80, CO calls $0.80, Button calls $0.80

I decided to bet this as the spades flush was not completed and I had by this time decided that he was probably on an AT or AQ like me.

River: ($3.80) Q (3 players)
Hero bets $2, CO raises to $3.82 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero calls $1.82

I thought this was a good card and thought that maybe he actually might have AJ and I could get value from that, or an AT hand. When he insta-shoved I was almost positive that he had AQ as it was the first real aggression I had seen him show this hand. Sadly I was wrong.

Total pot: $11.44

Hand 2 and 3 are very similar spots

Villain was unknown to me though he ran 33/33 over the following 10 hands or so I was at the table.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($6.06)
BB ($7.43)
UTG ($5)
MP ($5.05)
CO ($2.56)
Hero (Button) ($5.46)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 9
2 folds, CO calls $0.05, Hero bets $0.25, SB raises to $0.75, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.50

I called mostly for set value though I'm not sure why seeing as I haven't hit a set in over 2500 hands.

Flop: ($1.60) 5, 6, 8 (2 players)
SB bets $1, Hero calls $1

This call was pretty dumb but I just didn't really know what to do.

Turn: ($3.60) J (2 players)
SB bets $4.31 (All-In), Hero folds

Total pot: $3.60

Hand 3: Almost identical to hand 2 except this villain was 28/24 over 80+ hands.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($5)
Button ($11.21)
SB ($2.25)
BB ($10.86)
Hero (UTG) ($5.05)
MP ($5)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 10, 10
Hero bets $0.20, 4 folds, BB raises to $0.62, Hero calls $0.42

Once again I called thinking about set value as I was putting him on AQs+ and JJ+

Flop: ($1.26) 3, 4, 9 (2 players)
BB bets $0.10, Hero calls $0.10

Sure this bet seemed weak, but it was so uncharacteristic of this player that I thought it might be a bet to trap me into raising vs a KK AA type hand. Although he may have had AK in this spot. Once again I wasn't sure what to do.

Turn: ($1.46) A (2 players)
BB bets $1.46, Hero folds

Might be kind of a bluffy bet since it was an insta pot bet as soon as the A showed but then again I just don't see how I am beating anything in his range at this point. It would have been interesting if I had raised on the turn to $1ish to see what he did.

Total pot: $1.46

These are a few spots where in the past I might have stacked off but I'm just not really sure how to play them.

#1 There is probably merit in squeezing preflop. Dont be a lazy arse when putting villian on a range. What about AA+? JJ? 88? T9? XXss? 22? 7d4h? You caught a major flop for your hand and have relative position, checking seems about right to gain an extra bet from the BTN, given that theres 2.462 million draws possible and assuming the btn continues to play his draw passive I like to c/r and fold to a CO shove. The possibility of someone re-shoving is usally a poor reasoning to play a vulnerable yet strong hand passively oop.

#2 Preflop is too thin, just fold. Calling flop is good as is folding turn.

#3 Maybe not many people at 5nl appreciate it, but he´s 3betting an UTG raise from the BB, which means "run to the hills". Preflop you´re paying .42 for implied 4.4 roughly. Idk whats nowadays consesus, but 11:1 again seems too thin. You have 27% equity vs the range you gave him, your only 100BB and can´t provide any postflop reads, fold pre. Raise flop ffs, you went lucky he´s on missed overs and doesnt know what to do, dont let him overcard you and be happy if he drops his 25% equity share. Fold to a raise.

1. I think it's fine
2. Fold pre after the 3bet
3. Fold pre after the 3bet

Hand 1: Don't give results (I'm referring to your "Sadly I was wrong"). Why don't you try putting your opponents on ranges instead of OH RIGHTY O I PUT HIM ON A9+. I mean yeah he could have A9+, but he could also have a ton of other shit. What about the button? You didn't even mention him.

Hand 2: Don't be a whiny bitch with your omg I haven't hit a set in 2500 hands bullshit. Take that shit to the whiny bitch forum, oh wait I mean the bad beats forum. Or better yet don't and just keep it to yourself. Puttttt your opppppponent on a fuuuuuuuuucking raaaaaange. Preflop call sucks without reads because you don't have odds to hit your precious set and you apparently have a mental handicap that prevents you from putting your opponent on a range so trying to outplay him postflop is completely out of the fucking question.

Hand 3: Jesus Christ do you never fold preflop to a 3-bet fucking ever.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I was going to post and then spoon pretty much nailed it.

FWIW...

1- your reasoning on the flop is weird. I'd bet to try and get out the draws and so what if he pushes back. Insteading of fucking around on later streets just shove or fold if he pushes back. You might not want to fold there but tp isn't always the best hand in fr.

2- easy fold pre. Screw it. It's only nines. Putting .50 into a 1.05 pot to set mine is just really really bad play.

3- if he didn't already have you pf he had you after the A hit. Easy fold given the range you laid out. Thank him for spelling it out for you.

One thing I think you can try doing that may not be a perfect play but better than what youre doing for these types of spots is raising the flop when you're unsure.

If you have a pretty good made hand on a riskyish flop just reraise his bet, if he shoves then fold (usually), if he folds, cool, its better than check calling for 3 streets and letting him hit his outs for the hands that arent beating u and getting wrecked by the ones that have u killed... imo riasing allows you to gain knowledge where as calling down the opponents bets til a scare card hits and then folding isnt exactly great....

if your calling 3bets with 99 & TT (which i dont think is that bad against some opponenets IP but be careful) you cant just call down bets every time an ace doesnt hit. if u only think ur going to win when u hit a set fold, if u think u can win without hitting sets then the flops in hand 2 and 3 are both ones your looking for, i def reraise with TT in hand 3... his 10c is a check in my book...
