UTG is unknown to me and new at the table I just assume he's a weak player due to not buying in full.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Hero (BB) ($25.95)
UTG ($19.85)
MP ($48.50)
Button ($27.65)

UTG raises $0.75, 3 folds, Hero raises $2.45, UTG calls $1.95
Flop: ($5.50) 3 , Q , 6 (2 players)
Hero bets $3.70, UTG calls $3.70
Turn: ($12.90) 8 (2 players)

fold preflop imo although I'm not much for 6m. Few reasons for this. (1) Villain is unknown, and AJo is going to be a marginal hand (2) I wouldn't make a habit of bluffing unknown villains (3) Villain is opening UTG. Therefore he has his strongest range. (4) your OOP!!!

You assume villian is weak because he bought in less than full?
Fair enough...but if villian is weaktight, his UTG raising range is crushing AJo.
If he's loose weak, he will most likely be limping rather than raising, so if he is raising, your crushed as well.
You don't have implied odds to call AJo against a dominated range (your opponent bought in short) and you're oop so your at a disadvantage postflop therefore 'outplaying' this weak player is out of the question.
AJo looks nice, but it unfortunately it sucks here. I'd just fold it and look for a better spot. I also don't like 3-betting oop with a marginal hand unless it is for the sake of defending blinds. I also wouldn't recommend 3-betting and UTG opener from oop without a big hand - unless you have some sort of read which would justify your 3-bet. If opponent calls the c-bet on that flop, you are beat and you will need to give it up here, especially oop. The preflop mistake brought upon postflop mistakes, so if you fix that, you just saved yourself lots of chips.

Yeah I should really stop over defending against unknowns - jus feels like I play too weakly from the blinds sometimes. I put the guy on prolly 99 1010 JJ hecne the turn bet but yeah it all sucks lookin' back.

^^^^^^^^
All the above
I have to ask should you be playing at these stakes? Are you rolled for it and if so do you really want to spew all your moniez away gaining an education. Why not drop down to 2nl or 5nl and gain an understanding of the game.

i rarely 3-bet AJ, and 3-betting an utg raiser is always bad.

Its not defending when its UTG raising, its basically giving money away.
Bluffing should be such a tiny part of your micro nl game.

die in a grease fire jerri
as for the hand , looks like standard megaspew postflop. don't mind the 3 bet as a bluff / value but after bricking flop i 'd pretty much gointo C/F mode there, cuz like what is he folding ever pre that is worried about a cbet on that flop? vs unknown no reads , instafold
