PokerStars, $0.01/0.02 Hold'em Cash Games, 5 Players

Board:
BB: $1
UTG: $5.03
CO: $2.81
Hero: $7.35
SB: $8.44

Dealt to Hero K K

Pre-flop:
(2 folds), Hero raises to $.08, SB calls $.07, (1 folds)

Flop: ($.18) Q T J (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $.18, SB calls $.18

Turn: ($.54) A (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $.54, SB calls $.54

River: ($1.62) 8 (2 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1, SB raises to $2.82, Hero calls $1.82

I'm not sure about my bet sizing, nor am I sure if my play on the river was correct.

Thanks.

hmm idk how bad your opponent is but I would say check behind river. People won't call your pot-size bet on the turn w/out the same straight or a flush draw usually.

Villain's stats were 48/6 (over 98 hands), WTSD% of 36. Not sure if those are the best stats to be looking at.

Meh... WTSD% is one of those stats that needs a half-decent sample size to be meaningful. But assuming the 36% is in the general vicinity, tells me he's prolly not calling a bet w/ worse on the River. So you'll either fold him out, and win what you would have won with a check, or get raised, and likely be facing the flush or chop-chop.

I think our equity shrunk when the flush draw completed, so I'd check behind on the river and get to see a cheaper showdown. he's probably counting on us to bet as usual instead of donking on the river, so you can deny him the chance to get it in with you
<JustinSKS> Tha'ts why I fold my 33 to 72o, because 7 high beats, 1 pair, donk.

JR: lets do it JUAN
JR: mono e mono
JR: man to man
JR: HU4ROLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Dealer: juan0984 folds
