SB is 27/15 and rather aggressive postflop
CO (preflop raiser) is 35/15 and aggressive postflop when he has a hand, otherwise not much really
UTG and MP1 are unknowns

so on the turn, I think that no-one has a 7x or a Qx or it'd be bet here, (the advantages of being IP..)
so I think that I'm ahead, and should bet my hand for..protection and value? protection from people drawing to a straight or flush, and value from draws (i'm not sure if my reasoning is right here). a combo gutshot/flush draw has 9+3=12 outs, so a 24% chance of making their hand on the river. if i make a psb, they have to put in 33% of the money with only a 24% chance of making their hand.

but i realised that this only really applies for HU situations right? since this is a 5way pot, if even one person calls, the others with draws might have good enough odds to justify the call. but am I still able to bet for value here from draws?

on the turn card, every straight draw completes. in a 5 way pot your hand is close to completely worthless. just check and hope to get to showdown

I figured that since no-one bet, no-one had a straight on the turn. But I suppose that with so many villains, it's useless to try and get value from people still drawing on the turn?

AJ has alot of equity against a 35/15's opening range into a limped pot, and we also are in position so a fold is really nitty. I'd probably 3b because most villains would continue fairly wide, but a call is fine

I think 4 way pots @ 2nl, IP or not suck pretty bad for AJo. I think @ 2nl it's the same as a limped pot. 3b maybe, but not call., theres just so many better spots to play @ 2nl, I only say this because It will almost certainly be 4 way or better.

EDIT: Note, villain only raised to 3x, so limping villains and blinds only have to call "four cents"....

Ah. so 3b would be to isolate, and i could be ahead of CO's 3b flatting range. plus I'm IP. as played the turn bet is wrong?

IMO with that many villians in the hand a bet here for value is wrong. You have 0 value IF you play the board not your hand, which is what i would do in this situation. I could be wrong -Flame on- But i do agree with the 3bet PRF IP. But i do think betting that turn is just pissing money away.
Stack That Arab Money!!!
