Hands like these are destroying me! And it seems like my poker career is FULL of stuff like this.... The results are below

MP1 is 20/14
MP2 is 14/12

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button ($9.25)
SB ($10.85)
Hero (BB) ($23)
UTG ($30.70)
UTG+1 ($22.55)
MP1 ($25.25)
MP2 ($10.10)
MP3 ($6.10)
CO ($16)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J, 10
2 folds, MP1 raises to $0.75, 1 fold, MP3 calls $0.75, 2 folds, SB calls $0.65, Hero calls $0.50

Flop: ($3) 4, 10, J (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.10,

MP1 raises to $4.20, MP3 raises to $5.35 (All-In), 1 fold, Hero calls $3.25, MP1 calls $1.15

Turn: ($19.05) 8 (3 players, 1 all-in)
Hero bets $11, MP1 raises to $19.15 (All-In), Hero calls $5.90 (All-In)

River: ($52.85) 5 (3 players, 3 all-in)

What do you guys think of the turn bet specifically?

Results:

MP3 shows JJ making a set
SB shows AA making the nut-flush
After this hand, I had to quit my session because its just unreal how often I catch two pair or better and get screwed because of it. When I lay down my bigger hands, (mostly overpairs...I've added this to my game) it always feels. But w/e, poker really really sucks right now...uber frustrated... I need to go pick on some small children because I feel so belittled right now. ego=crushed

"Gotta run well eventually."

after MP3 reraises all in on flop i jam to push out the multitude of draws. didn't look at results but judging from your complaint i'm guessing you were up against a set (which is kind of a cooler imo) or got sucked out on on the turn.. i prob check/fold turn after just calling flop (except i don't think i'd ever ever just call flop).

(after looking at results) take note that MP1 minraises strength into field and SB is a station, chalk it up to variance and move on i think. no doubt frustrating as fk.

You are getting ridiculous odds to call here preflop so I don't mind it too much. On the flop, it's a very drawish board, so I'm betting full pot ($3) and shoving over any kind of raise. We want to get it in now while we have an edge over those straight and flush draws. If someone has a set (5 total combinations possible with your blockers), gg them. If they have a draw or an overpair and hit the card they need to beat you as you miss your 4-outer to the nuts, bad luck you, but you got your money in good. The only draw that you're a dog to is KQ... you even have better equity than K9.

So yeah, get it on the flop, especially multi-way, and when you lose, say "Oh well, bad luck. I played good."
