It definitely did cross my mind a few times. But I was really unsure as to which was the better option versus this type of player. If I had and he called/shoved over I'd know that I'm toasted. Maybe that is the better play...

Do we bet the turn b/c we think he's on 77/99 and he really can't continue after the Ace falls?

That's what I'd think....JJ and QQ may even get out of the way.

I figured he'd 3bet those.

This smells like 88 or some other slowplay, but I'd go broke too.

Aside from checking the turn, I don't really see a problem with the hand.

Heh.I have the same leak on 25NL.Whether or not to cbet on the turn Ace or non Ace turn.I usually shut down after the flop, unless i have a good read of his ranges and style.

Some nit might just played it really really weak with JJ and QQ,cold calling sb,which is crap.12/8 is a big nit on FR.

Is our raise on the river too big for value?Tough to lay down on the river after the shove, but i guess we ought to lay down this hand in the long term looking over his ranges(12/8 stats).

We should be able to narrow down his range here on the turn and river bet and raise.
