Hero opens from UTG2 and large fish calls on the button. Tight reg siezes the opportunity and lays down the squeeze. Hero curses under his breath "fracking joker stars!" What's the best line from here on in? Re-squeeze the squeezer to $8? Fist-pump shove? Call and check-raise reg on flop? I fear calling reg may bring fish along. Hope to hear your ideas.

yeah people say that having multiple callers with high pocket pairs is bad news, and with K's people say that you're only increasing your risk that someone else has an A. well that's fine but an A only hits the 1/5 of the time so i think that the other four times in five you're getting better value. i think pokerstove agrees that you gain value on your hand if the fish calls w the likes of AQ

i disagree, i think we can 4bet here. villain 3bets an EP raiser out of the blinds which is usually a sign of strength

get it in pre or 4bet and play a flop with a nice bloated pot for you

ok, it's a sign of strength but why does that mean that we should 4bet? i'm not being sarcastic, i'm really asking

I dont even agree that's it's necessarily a sign of huge strength. This, in general, isn't a bad place to squeeze, although you are playing TAggy it looks like and did raise UTG.

So, basically I 100% agree with you surviva and spenda. If you 4-bet the fish is most likely gone and you also fold out some of ERC's hands. Let the fish call and catch one pair and stack off. There has got to be more value here in calling > raising.

well appreciate you agreeing with my initial proposal, but i have to agree with chung that this is a show of strength. a true squeeze play is unlikely at micro cash games. i could certainly conceive of it happening, but it's not even that good of a play against Frisky when he's running 19/14 and he raised in EP. a thinking player gives Frisky credit for a good hand here and a non thinking player has never heard of a squeeze play to begin with.

What's your image here at that very moment? Any history with villain? I see you are running 19/14.

I really think a smooth call here is best.. only AA calls your shove right? I guess QQ might.. but its unlikely.

A call brings the fish along a lot and the reg will really like his QQ, JJ, 1010, AK, AQ on the right flop because surely you can't have KK right?

I call and plan to stack on most non-ace boards.

I'm just so unconcerend with stacking the squeezer b/c if we do it's a total cooler so I'm more concerned about getting the fishies dead mobnies in the pot. On top of this his post-flop stack-off range is much wider and certainly weaker than the squozer's range.
