Was my ship to him a bad play? After I did it, even before he folded I felt he may have had an over pair rather than a hand I had to worry about a draw, so that's why I am posting it.

Would it have been better to just call his reraise then reevaluate on the turn?

The only notes I have on the villian is (Called w/ AJ off in the sb after a minraise utg got called by several
78 off in the CO)

Your initial raise needs to be bigger and as played just raise less than all-in to a pot committing size like $13-$16 because it provides less FE even though in reality they can't fold the turn anyways in which they are too dumb to realize.
