Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

CO ($14.15)
Button ($25)
SB ($12.25)
BB ($29.35)
Hero (UTG) ($57.80)
UTG+1 ($13.45)
MP1 ($26.70)
MP2 ($55.35)
MP3 ($25)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, A
Hero raises to $1.10, 1 fold, MP1 calls $1.10, 4 folds, SB raises to $4.90

i was thinking of just making it so that the sb goes all in.

weird PF bet, i mean its not bad by any means lol just weird adding the extra 10c. But anyways I would need a good read that SB is uber tight or something to fold AK here for 60ish BB. Without a read, just 4bet or shove, doesn't really matter. The guy in between is hardly ever gonna call and for 60BB u cant go wrong getting it in with AK against an unknown.

what hands do you think he's threebetting to this amount?
Of those, what does he fold preflop if you shove?

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

jackvance is an unknown quantity at this point
If you have some indication whether he's the kind of guy who plays his strong hands fast or his questionable hands in a strong manner, that would help. Barring that, just go allin - especially if you think his range is as wide as "maybe 55+,AJ+ figured it was a coin flip at the worst. "

You need a read of what your opponent is doing this sort of move with. If you think he's not only doing this with QQ+ then shove.

As for the $1.10, I'm willing to bet that someone either limped or posted and someone clicked 'bet pot'

Ya, definitely read dependent on this one.

Sick thing is here that I have seen people raise this much with garbage at limits like this. It may be different though on tilt. Definitely can be QQ+ or also AKs. Gotta believe he has something like QQ+ and that if you just call you are flipping here

I dont think its very read dependant at all. You have AK vs a short who could have a wide range in this spot. MP1 is almost never willing to get it in here either.

Shove and you'll get your read. EZ

Well, if you start betting and someone reraise, then its what you want. You could just had check, and then probably he would not raise that big.

So, in your situation, call or AI.
With patience you win
