Good fold. THe way he played the hand shows he was on some kind of draw, the flush draw being the most common. Good job saving your money on the river. With a iffy-drawy board on teh flop, you should protect your hand more with a pot sized bet and same goes for teh turn. You gotta give him wrong odds to call so he can't suck out.

$2 on flop, $4 on river as played (5 if you'd bet more on flop)
Just playing to improve.

I'd c-bet the flop for $2, and increase the turn bet accordingly - this makes it a mistake for him to call because the implied odds he has don't justify the size of the bet he has to call.

As played, good fold. the fact that you folded and didn't justify his optimistic calls makes his calling a mistake (assuming he was on the flush draw, which it looks like)
<JustinSKS> Tha'ts why I fold my 33 to 72o, because 7 high beats, 1 pair, donk.

JR: lets do it JUAN
JR: mono e mono
JR: man to man
JR: HU4ROLLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Dealer: juan0984 folds

You are not beating much on the river. Virtually every hand that I first thought might be losing, in fact still beats you. eg QQ, QJ. That board is soaking wet - it could source a new Amazon. So yes, its a standard fold. The only thing you could have done is bet a bit more on the flop and turn as bjaust said.

yay, you're not just raising the pot preflop anymore. bet as close to the pot as possible with your vulnerable hands--"AA on super wet board" certainly falls into this category

Haha yeah I'm trying to do something new preflop and stop myself from using the pot button. If we bet more on flop and turn, aren't we forced to call a turn craise then, since his stack is so small?

Do you mean 4$ on turn, and fold river? or check turn and 4$ river?

No, he means bet $4 on the turn assuming the pot size is $5.35, or bet more than $4 if you'd bet the flop harder (since pot is bigger and we choose bet sizes in relation to the current pot size, rather than arbitrarily)

no, bet $4 on the river instead of checking that's what he means
it's called a "blocking bet"
it has a dual purpose: prevent villain from bluffing and to get him to call with a hand like Jx
because with a very weak hand he's not willing to call any normal size bet

it also hopefully makes him fold his bluffs instead of bluff raising the river
