A few hands. Maybe std. River bets (or lack of) seem to be costing me

BB is 22/14/3 over 40 or so. Minbets any pair whether it's a pp or pair the board. Never seen a semibluff. Will fold to aggression. Bets big hands big including TPTK.

betting looked weak so I figured he had a pair of some sort and not 22 or 66. He would have bet Jx big. Plan was to get to SD cheap.

On the turn I figured I was ahead because ofthe weak bet.

River a bet or a check? If a bet then how much ?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com
SB ($6.25)
BB ($11.32)
UTG ($5)
UTG+1 ($12.61)
MP1 ($24.34)
MP2 ($7.18)
CO ($11.26)
Hero (Button) ($25.06)
Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, 9
5 folds, Hero bets $0.75, 1 fold, BB calls $0.50
Flop: ($1.60) J, 2, 6 (2 players)
BB bets $0.75, Hero calls $0.75
Turn: ($3.10) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $1, Hero calls $1
River: ($5.10) Q (2 players)
BB checks, ???

One more...

Villian is 60/2/1.2 over about 20 or so. Shove river or value bet?

H1: Standard all the way. Check the river.
H2: For a 1.2AF to raise he must have at least 2pr, maybe like K5. I'm really tempted to shove the river since he obv sucks a lot. Could easily have A4 also here. I wonder if you could c/r.... it's always weird to get max value out of these kinds of morons on a river with such a high SPR. Maybe b/shove like 4.35? I dunno if he'll shove over that or not.

It's kind of an interesting spot to find the right bet size that will induce a raise from the top of his range and still get max value from a hand he is just calling with. fwiw I don't see him fold any hand he minraises the turn with.
[00:29] <daven> dc, why not check turn behind

1: It's good. No hands we beat will call so check behind.

2: You're probably behind on turn but calling the minraise is good. Bet $4.5 / call.

1: fistpump for making it to showdown and check it back, hoping he doesn't have a weak jack.
2: pot the flop and turn to build a pot (we really have to do this when we hit our big blind specials!). As played I like a river shove.

H1: check river
H2: pot flop and turn; as played b/p $3.50. I don't see anything in his range that is calling anymore than this other than A4, which with that he is probably raising, maybe even shoving...

Hoopy is an unknown quantity at this point
H2 : As others have said you can bet larger on flop and turn.

Seems kinda close between b/c $5 or c/r all in. His range is fairly strong when he min raises but I think there's some Kx type hands there which he thinks is the nuts and will call a PSB on the river but might only bet $3 and find a fold to a big c/r otherwise.

Say the river is a complete blank - whats the plan?
