The villian has been playing pretty loose 46/14 over 70 hands. but he hasn't really been 3 betting anyone untill this hand. So assumed that his hand range has narrowed to a top tier hand. When he raises the turn I'm not sure I can fold my set in this spot because i think i beat a decent amount of his range. What would you do with the river? Is there any value in raising the river?

get it in on the turn.

Failing that, absolutely get it in on the river. You have the second nuts against a terrible opponent this is like the easiest shove in the history of easy shoves.

I knew some nitpicking bastard was gunna correct me on that.

1) 1 combo isn't worth mentioning especially when villain is like never 3betting 66

2) We often use the term 'nuts' non-literally

3) I wish I could slap you through TCP/IP.

I might be insane for not shipping it, but my play leans on the more cautious side. I felt that his 3rd bet wouldn't have been a a mini re raise if he was weak.

Granted i see that everyone thinks i should have shipped with 3rd nuts.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Not that I'm terribly worried about KK, but the turn line (small bet "Please somebody stay in this hand", min-raise "Please don't fold out") could certainly be KK. The $2 lead into a $24 pot when the board pairs, though, is dumb and screams blocking bet ("Christ, I hope this idiot wasn't raising the turn with a @#$%@ club draw") and you can probably get a call if you ship it, since you've both only got $12 or so behind. Calls from flushes, AK, AA (lol).

You definitely need to raise something. A shove is probably fishiest, and may get called lighter than a raise to $6.

You lost this hand because you open to .8 instead of .75 or 1. Pick a non gay looking raise size next time.

He has AA in his range too lfdo, maybe AK some % of the time. Turn call is bad re-raise and get it in there.
