Quick question, I know a lot of people like smaller 4bet sizes when 100bb deep. Usually 2.25-2.5x the 3bet is adequate, we can fold to a push if our hand is weak and if it is not our opponenet is pot commited.

How does this change 200bb deep?

6 handed .5/1 for simplicity 200 dollar stacks
we raise to 3.5 utg with TT
TAG CO 3 bets it up to 17
we 4 bet to..........

A)51 (leaves us an awkward SPR but with room to fold)
B)42 (leaves us room to bet flop but once we do we are committed)
C) 37 ( almost a mini raise but gives us FE on flop and turn if we need it)
Flopping quads and boats like its my job

With TT, you call and try to hit a set on the flop, because if you do you stack them.

If you had AA or KK, I'd pick B or C and hope that he shoves for max value. If you want them to fold a better hand, I'd pick B. I don't see the point of risking so much on A when you might be dominated.

Thanks ISF, very dumb question. If we ever want to take a stand here its much better to do with 62s etc correct? TT has too much value that we effectively lose when we 4bet it.

The question stems from a hand where I did call behind with TT against a very lite 3bettor. Flop was 974 and i wind up check calling 2 streets which is terrible because my hand is completely face up. Making a play on the flop or turn here is probably much better if I think hes 3betting too lite.
