Player 1 - 94
Player 2 - Q3
Community cards - Q 9 4 2 2
Who wins? Is it whoever has the highest First pair?

Player 1 has two pair, nines and fours.
Player 2 has two pair, queens and twos.
Therefore player 2 will win, as he has the higher top pair.

ok thanks, for some reason i assumed the player who made 2 pair with his own cards would win as player 2 only technically made 1 pair
What a goon

yea but they both technically made 2 pair. You take the best 5 card hand out of your 2 and the 5 on the board even if it means you only play the 5 on the board.
This is one of the reasons bottom 2 pair is such a vulnerable hand. If the board pairs above your 2 pair then you are pretty screwed to a lot of hands

The cards in your hand has no 'better' value then the board cards, you can use any 5.
